European Blackjack Redeal Gold released by Microgaming

European Blackjack Redeal Gold is a new release by Microgaming. Microgaming does not often release new table games so this is a welcome addition to what is already an impressive selection of table games already offered under the Microgaming software.

This new version of Blackjack includes the option of redealing the cards up to five times. It will allow players to choose to redeal their own cards or they may choose to redeal the dealers cards. The redeal option also allows for the redealing of only the last card dealt. If the players hand goes bust the option of a redeal is removed. Should the player get blackjack they also will not be able to redeal nor will a redeal be available if the player has achieved 21. In the event that a player chooses to split their hand they will also not be offered the redeal option.

Based on the cards that have been initially dealt there will be a cost to have the cards redealt. The good side to this is not all hands will require an additional cost and generally only those hands where the last card dealt could have a large impact on the results will see a cost applied or when the dealer is showing a high card and it is elected to have the dealers hand redealt.

This version of blackjack only uses 2 decks of cards in the show. All standard blackjack rules apply such as the dealer having to stand on 17 or more, being able to double down on 9, 10 and 11 and no doubling down after splitting of any hand. The offering of insurance is not available nor is the ability to peek at cards. The advantages however far outweigh those options not being on the table as the odds are greatly increased with the redeal option.

The minimum wager is set at $1 and the maximum is set at $200. The chip sizes included are $1 and progress up to $200. The default chip size is set at $10. The graphics and overall presentation of the game is nice and game play is smooth. There is full game rules along with helpful hints offered as well, which is a nice option to have for those who may be new to the game of blackjack.

Microgaming has done a good job with European Blackjack Redeal Gold and it is sure to become a popular addition to the blackjack games already offered.
